CrossFit is best defined as functional fitness. We use CrossFit to prepare us for the physical demands of everyday life and to help combat chronic diseases later in life. Our inclusive workouts mean every exercise is scalable to the individuals' level and gives everyone aims and goals to progress towards.
Burn is a high-intensity interval training program that aims to turn up the heat with a training regime that blitzes fat and increases your metabolism, allowing you to keep shredding long after you finish working out. This class uses kettlebells, plyometrics, body weight movements and cardiovascular machines to maximise metabolic conditioning output. Basically, you'll get really, really fit. Thank us later.
One of the oldest disciplines from the Olympic Games, the Snatch and Clean & Jerk, requires dedicated hard work to master.
Our two sessions a week program is designed to improve your technique and numbers in these lifts. We will be focusing on developing strength, flexibility, speed, and power. These skills will be transferable to your overall training and once you start attending these classes, you’ll have wished you’d started earlier.
Get ready to become a gymnastic ninja warrior. Too much? Okay, perhaps you just want to accomplish your first pull-up or handstand push-up. This is still the class for you. Our gymnastics program is designed to master the fundamentals and follows cycles of training that have different focus points, but all aimed at getting us incredibly strong at the bodyweight movements that CrossFit can throw at us.
A programme designed to make you functional and robust in all planes of motion. Build helps to increase muscle and joint strength through building muscle and stability around the joints, helping work on the little details (that we often neglect) to make the big lifts better and more efficient.
Using a variation of different loading systems from bodyweight to barbells within accessory style movements to help improve performance and functional readiness.
Equally as important to your CrossFit training, we focus on the 4 main core lifts (Squat, Bench, Deadlift and Overhead Press) to increase maximum output through controlled movements. These sessions will help to develop raw strength which will coincide within all other areas of your training. Working with heavier weight over smaller rep ranges to build that foundational core, the major exercises in this class will be programmed around the movements used in the main CrossFit classes for the week and will complement your training. Remember, you can’t build a house without a strong foundation!
Do you ever find certain skills just seem that little bit out of reach? Do your double unders need a little work? Does your kipping break down under fatigue? Or maybe you find the snatch difficult to get to grips with in class? If yes, then our new skills class is for you.
This class will help you unwind and let your muscles recover after a tough week of training. We begin with a gentle pulse raiser to help get the body warm and to get the blood flowing around those sore muscles. We will then go through some coach-led foam rolling, and focused mobility work plus a stretch routine focusing on the problem areas from the week before.
One-on-One Coaching is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals - whether they are performance-related or you simply want to get in shape, conduct a functional movement assessment, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible.
