Massive congrats to our Wandsworth member of the month for October, Emily Wood! Coach Simon caught up with Emily off the back of her award to get her thoughts on a few matters…

Do you remember your first WOD with us or the one that got you hooked?

I was pretty hooked from my first session but the DISTRICT Throwdown was definitely a highlight!

What’s your favourite workout of movement?

It’s probably a deadlift – although that’s probably only because I’m 5ft 2 and it’s not got far to travel!

How have you found being part of the DISTRICT Community since you joined us?

The District community is one of the best parts, the socials, the competitions, the general encouragement you get from everyone at the gym is amazing!! Although I’ve had a couple of brutal hangovers due to the District gang – that I’m not so thankful for!

What’s the biggest thing that keeps you coming to class?

My out of control crisp addiction!!
