Spent a chunk of lockdown laced up and (virtually) racing the roads? Well, you’ll be glad to know real races are making a comeback and we could not be more excited to get stuck in… at a social distance of course!

Just in case our Start to Run club hasn’t tempted you enough, we’ve whipped up a list of companies we think you should check out as the return to racing begins. From 10k to 250k we’ve included a race option for every runner, so what are you waiting for?

The Big Guns @ Ultra X Co

Whilst this race is technically closed, a little birdie told us those desperately keen could still nap a spot on the waitlist to join John in the big miles. This is the first Ultra X Co race of the year thanks to you know what, and let us tell you it’s going to be a cracker. With either a double day option (125k) or a single day perfect intro to ultras (50k) running the infamous Peak District hills, this is one race opportunity you do not want to miss. Ultra X Co host races in some of the most beautiful parts of the world, and have a rocking line up ready for 2021 too, so if you’re not quite ready for this year’s race, check out what’s on offer post 2020.

Kew Gardens 10k

Talk about keeping it local, this one is right on your doorstep. Running right through London’s finest gardens, this is two feet tour many pay plenty for. With things running a little differently this year, there’s an opportunity to line up both day to take on 10kms of fast, flat running. Plus, your Kew Gardens 10K entry includes two FREE adult and 2 children’s tickets into Kew Gardens (before 12pm) along with the below goody bag and buff!

Runthrough Events

Runthrough run events all over the UK, and we mean all over the UK. From pacing around motor racing tracks to Santa specific runs, these racing wizards have a challenge for anyone willing. Many of the events also host a number of distances, making them perfect for any pace or running ability. The only question now is which race?

Endurance Life

Looking for great views and classic locations? Look no further. Endurance Life host trail races all over the UK, tackling some technical trails and embracing some breathtaking views. From the York Moors to the Suffolk coast, these guys really know how to put on an unforgettable event. In a similar style to Runthrough, each of the races hosts a number of different distances so really, there’s no excuse.
